Dear Christian Writer,
NaNoWriMo is dead. And with it, over 400,000 writers are left without a home.
That wouldn't matter… if your book was already written.
But it's not.
Because even though you've felt called to write — even though the story has burned inside you for years — you've been stuck.
Procrastination. Perfectionism. Comparison.
The three-headed monster that's kept you from finishing what God started.
But if you're reading this?
I believe you're different.
Not because you've done more. Not because you're more qualified. But because you haven't let go.
Even after all the false starts, all the doubt and the silence... you're still here. Still holding on to the dream. Still believing — even if it's just a flicker — that your story deserves to be written and shared.
I know. Because I was you.
I was 17 when I made myself a promise: "This summer, I'm going to write my book."
But what did I actually do?
I opened Google Docs. Typed a sentence. Deleted it. Scrolled Pinterest. Watched "How to Write a Novel" videos on YouTube. Made a 30-slide slideshow to "worldbuild" a story I never wrote.
I called it planning. But it was fear.
I was terrified my words weren't good enough. Terrified I'd write a book and hate it. Or worse — love it, and no one else would.
So I waited.
For the "perfect idea." For more knowledge. For some kind of sign.
And for nine months, I did nothing.
The worst part? I believed God gave me the story. Which meant I wasn't just ignoring a dream — I was ignoring my calling.
Then I stumbled across NaNoWriMo — a writing challenge with a 30-day deadline. I thought: "Okay. I've got 30 days. Let's go."
And it worked… kind of.
NaNo lit a fire under my butt. It got me moving. It got me writing. But even then… something was still missing.
I was hitting word counts. But I wasn't hitting peace.
Why?
Because I was writing for approval — not from an identity. I was chasing perfection. Chasing the "dream book" I saw in my head. And every time what I wrote didn't measure up… the fears came roaring back.
And that's when I realized:
I wasn't dealing with a productivity problem. I was dealing with a spiritual one.
I didn't need more motivation. I needed meaning. I needed to understand why my story mattered — not just to me, but to God.
And that's when He showed me something I couldn't unsee:
"As each have received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace." — 1 Peter 4:10
Let's slow down.
This means that YOU — yes, you — were born with a unique gift. A story-telling, word-weaving, emotion-sparking gift that was meant to serve others. To reach the lost… AKA…To bring people to Jesus.
Writing isn't just something you like. It's a skill God gave you to use for His glory.
That verse says we're called to be stewards. The Greek word there is oikonomos — which literally means manager of the household.
But here's the part no one tells you:
A steward's job is NOT to just sit and watch the house while the Master's gone. Their job is to take care of it. Improve it. Multiply what was given. To return it in better shape than when they got it.
That's our job. To steward the earth. To steward our creativity, while Jesus is gone.
To return His creation in a better state than when He left.
We've been saved. We have been born again, and it's our job to use our talents to do the same.
After all. What is the rest of your life… if not dedicated to helping save others?
Here's the truth most people don't want to admit:
The enemy wants nothing more than for you to hide your gift. To tuck it away. To keep it "safe." To bury it under shame. To write it off as "not good enough."
That voice in your head saying:
"It's not ready." "You're not talented enough." "There are better writers out there." "Maybe next year…"
That's not Jesus.
That's the enemy. And his #1 tactic isn't destruction — it's delay.
He'll let you dream all day… as long as you never finish.
But Jesus is standing there, holding open the door to your calling, saying:
"Step in. Trust Me. I'm ready to move through you."
And He's not waiting to punish you for waiting.
He's waiting to bless your freaking socks off when you finally say yes.
So let me say it again:
"As each have received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace." — 1 Peter 4:10
You are a steward. And the story inside you? It's not just for you.
It's for the girl who needs your healing. The reader who needs your redemption arc. The teen who needs hope. The soul who needs Jesus — and might only find Him through your words.
This truth — this revelation — was the first step that changed my life. It's what finally got me out of the cycle. It's what brought freedom to my writing. It's what helped me write a book I was actually proud of.
That's what brought me to the finish line. Not just a deadline. Not willpower.
Surrender.
Because it no longer mattered what me or the world thought. All that mattered was that I honored Jesus by using my gifts for His Glory.
Not hiding them under a bushel out of fear, but putting them on a pedestal in full sight.
With that peace, I finally published my book. I still remember holding the proof copy in my hands. It didn't feel real.
The cover was beautiful. The reviews came in. It hit #1. People in my town started calling me "the book guy."
But more than the sales or the success…
I was just praising Jesus.
Because for the first time, I had finished something — not out of pressure, but out of purpose.
Now it's your turn.
And the truth is… you're not alone anymore.
Because when I was starting out, there was nothing for Christian writers like you.
No framework. No community. No accountability rooted in Scripture. No one praying when you wanted to quit.
So I built what I wish existed back then.
Not a writing challenge. Not a course. Not a brand.
A movement.
Jesus Writing Month is not:
If that's what you're expecting — this isn't that.
Jesus Writing Month is a 30-day writing revival — born out of the belief that your story isn't just a hobby… it's a calling.
It combines:
It's for the writers who've tried everything… but still feel stuck. Still feel like their story isn't good enough. Still secretly wonder if they'll ever finish a book they're proud of.
Jesus Writing Month isn't about productivity. It's about obedience.
It's not about writing faster. It's about writing with freedom.
It's about waking up every day with clarity, community, and the peace of knowing you're finally walking in your calling.
And it all begins this November.
You've tried doing this alone. Now it's time to do it differently.

Let's be real for a second.
of writers who start a book never finish.
ever publish.
out of 1,000 writers will see their book in print.
That's not just a stat. That's a tragedy. Because these stories? They matter. Your story matters.
And for Christian writers, the battle is even deeper. This isn't writer's block. This is spiritual warfare. The enemy knows your words carry weight. He wants you distracted. Insecure. Isolated. Stuck.
But I'm not letting that happen to you. That's why I've dedicated my life to serving the Christian writing community. Because God gave me a gift — and I refuse to hoard it.
If all I do is help ONE writer overcome fear… Write a book they're proud of… Hold a beautiful cover in their hands… See their characters move someone to tears… And watch their story lead even ONE reader to Jesus… Then I've done what I was called to do.
That's why Jesus Writing Month is free. Because I want every Christian writer to join this revival — and finish what God started.
But I can't do this alone. So after you claim your spot, I'm asking you to do one thing:
📣 Share Jesus Writing Month on Instagram using #jesuswritingmonth
Tag 5 friends. Post it to your story. Spread the word.
If 100 of us each bring 5 — and those 5 bring 5 — we'll blow past 10,000.
Not just a verse. Not just a "quiet time." I'm talking real, daily time in the Word — together. We open up Scripture. We pray. We worship. It's how we reset. Refocus. And write from a place that's actually aligned with God.
You'll be able to see your word count grow every day — and see how everyone else is doing too. It's motivating. It's fun. It's weirdly holy. Because every word is proof that you're showing up.
1 Peter 4:10 was just the tip of the iceberg. I'll walk you through the exact process God used to help me finish — from mindset to structure to surrender. I promise you're gonna love it.
First 100 writers receive the Founders Pass → Your name permanently etched on the site
→ Mystery Drop #1 unlocks
→ The Black Box Giveaway opens (You'll find out what's inside when we get there — trust me, it's worth it)
→ The Jesus Writing Month Trailer drops early — only Founders get the first look
→ Submissions open for the first-ever Jesus Writing Month Anthology
Honestly? There isn't one. I'm in this for the ONE. The one who feels like giving up. The one who thinks their words don't matter. The one who needs to hear: "You were chosen for this."
We're capping the Founders Pass at the first 100 people. After that? You can still join the waitlist — but you'll be placed in overflow.
But here's the bigger picture:
We're only allowing 10,000 Christian writers into Jesus Writing Month — total.
Once registration closes this fall, it's closed for good.
If this speaks to you, don't wait.
We're launching Jesus Writing Month — a free 30-day writing revival for Christian writers who want to finish the book God gave them.
And it's free — because I want every Christian writer to experience this.
So if you're tired of starting and stopping… If you're done doing this alone… And you want clarity, freedom, and real progress?
These 100 writers are making history. Will your name be among them?
